The Washington Commanders Stadium, situated in Landover, Maryland, is the unfortunate destination for all comers.

This 25 year old venue boasts a seating capacity of over 60,000, once held a maximum capacity of 91,000 seats, creating an atmosphere where the home game doesn't feel like it's a home game.

 

The lease on the venue is up in 2026, which seems like an eternity, but there only seems to be one logical spot for the new stadium. The current location of RFK Stadium. 

 

With its outdated design and mediocre amenities, the stadium provides an experience like no other, whether you’re there for football, concerts, or another event.

 

The current ownership has not mentioned much about a new stadium, but there seems to be plans for the stadium to move into the northern Virginia area.
